Welcome to Irby's Equine Services at Sheridan Ranch. We offer lessons in everything from basic horsemanship, trail trails, to upper level Hunter and Jumper training, as well as farrier services. Personal and group lessons offer the flexibility for anyone who wants to learn.

LESSONS

We offer a wide range of lessons for all ages. We specialize in Working Equitation, Show Jumping, and General Horsemanship. We can help you be safe in whichever discipline you choose.
RETIRED HORSES
Irby's Equine Services offers personal service and care for horses that need a permanent retirement home. We also offer as a place for horses to rehabilitate and recover from injuries.
BOARDING
Irby's Equine Services offer a variety of boarding options depending on your needs. There are open pastures, covered paddocks with large turnouts, and 12'x 12' shaving bedded stalls in the barn.
FARRIER SERVICES

We offer specialty, custom, or hot shoeing as well as barefoot trims.
TRAINING
​
After we evaluate your horse we will discuss your expectations and make a plan.

ABOUT US
Lindsay Nissen Irby is 2nd generation experience in training Hunters & Jumpers. Having grown up with a renowned horse show veterinarian father, Dr. William R. Nissen, she has a wealth of experience in caring for injured and retired horses.
Hal Irby is a practicing farrier with over 30 years of experience. He is an avid horseman who practices natural horsemanship and is an experienced high country packer working with both horses and mules.
Between Hal and Lindsay they can teach you to be safe and confident on the trail or in the show ring.
